I’ve noticed that ads are currently not appearing within the content on my site, and are only visible in the footer section. From reviewing other community queries, it seems that a re-crawl may help resolve this issue. Additionally, I have recently unstuck the sidebar on my site.

Could you kindly assist me with initiating a re-crawl to fix this?

Hi Rajarajachozhan - I've rescraped your site - here's a screenshot of what I'm seeing on one of your posts:

Since the content on your site tends to be shorter-form and since it appears close to the first screenview on your posts, it's possible that you won't always see ads load in, as Journey won't place ads in the first screenview, and typically, it will prioritize long-form content.

Thank you so much! Ads are displaying in the content now. However I’ve noticed that the sidebar ads are not appearing on our site. Sidebars are none-sticky and greater than 300px width. Kindly assist

I have a unique design to some of my templates where there are two sections, each with a separate “sidebar” area. The problem is that the ad is showing up on the first sidebar and hovering over all the content is the second. Can that be fixed so the ad doesn't appear until the end of the second sidebar? Here's an example. The ad shows up in the blue section at top and not after the actual sidebar.

Indunil Bandara - you're all set! Video ads automatically serve on your site, but you won't always see them when visiting your site. As long as you're running the Journey script, these ads will automaitcally be served.

    Hello Team!

I don't see in-content ads and Universal Player on my website, colorfool.org. I also don't see any sidebar ads. Though I just read somewhere that my theme (Twenty Twenty Five) doesn't have an actual sidebar, and I am only using a layout that looks like one, I still want to place sidebar ads on my website. Is there any custom method to do that? Maybe I can add any code or manually add a placeholder to my sidebar layout for the ads.

Please get back to me ASAP! Thank you so much.

Vandana Vishwakarma it looks like Journey was able to place sidebar ads on your posts. As a rule of thumb, if you're seeing the Adhesion ad load on your site, the universal Player will as well.

I'm also seeing in-content ads load in on posts like this

Hey, I just noticed that sidebar ads are not enabled on my site aserenehome.com. Maybe because of the contents on the sidebar, ads were not placed. But I just removed all the contents such as recent posts, categories from the sidebar and now it just looks clean. Can you guys take a look at it and enable the sidebar ads?

    Good morning

I have enabled the sidebar with a large amount of width but no ads show. Please can you adjust ads for it.

And I also don't see ads in content (between paragraphs) - please can you check this too?

Video ads appear successfully in the bottom left. They look really good. The only other ad which does successfully appear is the bottom horizontal sticky ad, which appears on mobile and also desktop.

Since starting Journey I haven't changed any ad settings (apart from the Ad Density setting), so all settings are default. I can see all ad settings are set to Allow (in the "Disable Ad" Settings page in the Mediavine dashboard) so everything is enabled.

I also have everything toggled to "on" in the "Ad Settings" page, with Ad Density set to "High" (I did try "Optimal" but it made no difference).

Also, when a visitor arrives on my site it takes at least 10 seconds for an ad to show - is this normal?

Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.

    Matt

Matthew H - it looks like Journey was able to place a sidebar and in-content ads on your site. Currently, the sidebar ad is not sticking on your posts, as your sidebar is scoped to #page-content

Ads look to be loading at the expected speed on our end - Journey ads are lazy loaded, and the amount of time it can take to load in depends on the network that a device is connected to.

Hello Support, why is no one responding to my query, but the questions asked by others are being answered? I have been waiting for more than a week to get a response to my query - “Hey, I just noticed that sidebar ads are not enabled on my site aserenehome.com. Maybe because of the contents on the sidebar, ads were not placed. But I just removed all the contents such as recent posts, categories from the sidebar and now it just looks clean. Can you guys take a look at it and enable the sidebar ads?”

I have sent follow-up messages three times, but none of them were approved. What's wrong with my question? Someone please respond. Support Support Support Support Support Support Support Support Support Support

I'm reposting here since my last post is still showing as pending approval.

CV The sidebar on your site is currently ‘sticky', which is why you're not seeing sidebar ads load in. As a reminder, Journey will not place sidebar ads on a sticky sidebar.

Please do not tag our team multiple times on new replies. As we've stated, Journey is self-supported, and tagging our team will not provide you with an answer, and will likley end up filtering your messages out by our automated spam filters.

Our team will chime in on instances where we need to address a bug, or follow up regarding theme changes. We invite you to use the search feature located at the top of the page, connect with other Journey publishers, or browse our help docs and existing threads to help answer questions.

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
