Did you add a sidebar or unstick your sidebar? Post here!
PinnedIf you've noticed that your sticky sidebar ad has gone missing or you've added a fancy new sidebar to your site and need an ad targeted - Post here so our Support Engineers can take a look!
Important Notes:
- Our script will not be able to place a sticky sidebar ad if you have your sidebar set to stick on it's own. You'll need to ‘un-stick’ your sidebar to make sure we can properly target an ad there.
- Your sidebar needs to be at least 300 pixels wide.
- The sticky sidebar ad is one of the most viewable ads for desktop users, so the shorter the sidebar the better. This means that the reader gets to ‘stick’ with that ad unit longer and that it allows it more time to refresh.
- That said - our ads won't load in the first screen view so you'll want to make sure that is pushed below the fold.

Hi! I am trying to troubleshoot why the sidebar ad is not showing up. I can't find the “sticky” setting to change that, but it doesn't seem like my sidebar is sticky anyway? It's made up of widgets, so do I need to add a HMTL widget for the ad? And if so, what code am I supposed to put in there? Thanks,

Hi Srirup Mazumdar - It looks like I'm seeing all of these ads in place when checking posts on your site. I recommend double-checking this article for further troubleshooting if you're still not seeing ads on your end.

Our script will not be able to place a sticky sidebar ad if you have your sidebar set to stick on it's own.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding this but is there a possibility that I run both a sidebar sticky element and Journey's sidebar sticky ad? E.g. my own element should not exceed so-and-so pixels in width and height so the ad shows properly? Or it's mandatory there are no sticky elements for the ad to show?
Thanks for your help.

Momchil you will not be able to run a sticky sidebar ad if you have a sticky sidebar element in your sidebar.

Dear Support!
I moved to a new site, I'm finally on wordpress. I set up grow, everything is perfect. But the ads only appear in the bottom bar, not between the articles.
I would like to request a sitemap. Thank you

Dear Support,
I am using the Articlewave Pro theme and unsure if my sidebar is sticky. How do I disable. Also please help that ads are displaying correctly on my site https://livefullie.com

Hi Prowse Hargood , I took a look at your site and it looks like your sidebar is currently sticky. You'll want to look through your theme customization settings or reach out to the theme developer to unstick that. Once that's done we can recrawl your site and add in a sticky sidebar ad.

I unstuck my sidebar a few weeks ago but I don't see a sidebar ad on here still…

Hi UrbanWide Media Group LLC , It looks like our script is actually getting added a second time to your site through some optimization engine.

This can interfere with ad placement, so you'll want to remove that extra line.

Hello, I just set up Journey yesterday and all ads are showing except the sidebar ad.
I had the last child (meaning the last image) on the sidebar sticky with some css, but I removed it and it's not sticky anymore.
Still no sidebar ad is showing.
My sidebar is also 300px wide, so I dont know what's wrong.
Could you please take a look?
Thanks…

Hello Journey Support Team,
Sidebar ads don't always appear on my site: https://renchlist.com/. The homepage seems most affected.
Please could you investigate?
Many thanks!

Hey Nate Kwarteng - Journey won't place any ads on your homepage, but I did check a few different posts on your site and I'm seeing sidebar ads load in.

Hi Journey Support Team!
My sticky sidebar ads aren’t showing. I recently removed a sticky sidebar feature, but the sidebar ad still isn’t appearing. Could you take a look?

Hi there, I’ve added a space for ads in the sidebar. How can I manually place ads there? I currently have an adhesion banner and the universal video player, but I’d like to also include some ads in the sidebar.

Website is https://fortheloveofliving.com/.

Hi Lizzy - Content hints and upper sidebar ads are not available for Journey sites, which is why you're not seeing an ad load here. It also looks like Journey just needed to rescrape your site for a new set of content/sticky sidebar selectors - I've gone ahead and taken care of this, and I'm now ads populate on your posts.
