No Actual Ads are showing
My site was approved for Mediavine Journey over 8 days ago, but I only see the Grow.me widget and no actual display or video ads on the site. Revenue is extremely low (~$1 total). I’ve confirmed that the Mediavine script is loading, but no mv_slot divs or iframes are appearing. Can you please confirm if ads are fully activated and properly configured for my site?

Hi Invent High , It looks like you're using a custom built website. Because of how Journey targets your ads, this can sometimes pose a problem when there isn't a unique identifier to show the script where to place ads. The best way to solve this problem would be to add a custom class to the innermost container of your articles.

Once that is done, we can have our script recrawl your site and get your ads targeted.

Thank you for the response!
I’ve now added the journey-content class to the main container that wraps the post content on my site. Here's what it looks like:
<div class="container journey-content mt-5">
Please let me know if I need to make any further changes.

Hi Invent High , I can see that you added in the .journey-content class to your site, however it needs to be on the innermost container for your posts, like the element that I pointed out in the picture. Once it's moved to that location your ads should start populating correctly.

Hi, yes, I’ve moved now. How long will it take to reflect?

Hi Invent High It looks like you currently have ads populating through your articles so you should be good!

Hi Support I've waited for over 40 hours but still not ads are showing anywhere on my site- not even on article pages. please check the attached screenshot for my side and earning for reference.

These earnings haven't changed and still reflect only grow ad impressions. test ads are working, but live ads are not appearing on any page. let me know if anything else need to be updated on my end.

Invent High the ‘Want Fewer Ads’ ads you're seeing is common when advertisers aren't bidding on you as the site owner - this is common since you spend more time on the site than the average reader.
We have a little more information on this here.0 -
Dear Team,
I appreciate your response, but I’m still facing the same issue.I’ve asked a friend (on a different device, different location and IP) to check my site, and they only see Grow ads too.
I do not frequently visit my own site, so it’s unlikely the lack of bidding is due to my own activity.
It’s been more than 60 hours since I applied the recommended changes (journey-content container etc.).
I’ve attached my latest screenshot. As you can see, impressions and earnings are still extremely low compared to the sessions and pageviews — which suggests ads still aren’t actually showing.

Test ads show fine, but real display/video ads never appear on any page.
Could someone please take a second look to ensure everything is correctly configured on your end?

Invent High - thanks for following back up! I can confirm that real ads are serving on your site. Please take a look at this screenshot of an adhesion ad I was served:

If you're seeing placeholder ads, it just means that advertisers are not bidding for whichever reader is currently seeing the ads.
I took another look at your post content, and the reason you're seeing sporadic in-content ads is because your content is nested:
If you can instead move the journey-content HTML class to the parent of the “post content”, you'll start to see ads inside of the content as well

Hi, Support
Thanks again for your response.
I’ve now updated the outdated ads.txt file after seeing the warning in the dashboard. I'm using a fully custom site, and I’m working on moving the journey-content class to the correct parent element as per your advice.

That said, my earnings are still very low — just $0.07 yesterday with over 1,200 pageviews. I'm also getting complaints from users asking why I'm promoting Grow ads so much.
I'm not actively visiting my site myself, so this shouldn’t be a personalization issue.
Could you please double-check if my ads.txt is fully synced and if there’s anything else affecting performance or ad delivery?
