    Hi,

I changed from using Elementor to using Kadence with the theme “Bella Wordpress Theme” by creativeher.co. My site is https://everydayfamilytravel.blog

I see ads towards the bottom, but not in the content areas. Can we recrawl? Thanks!

Can I get a recrawl on Parentingpatch.com also in a new Custom Post Type Section: https://parentingpatch.com/pregnancy/week-by-week/

I changed themes (moved off a custom builder to GeneratePress, and there is no sidebar ad. Ads in the custom post type section are not working except for the sticky and video ads.

    Dear Grow Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding an issue I’ve encountered with my Grow dashboard while trying to place ads on my website, https://techrelated.site, which has been officially approved by row.

The error message I’m seeing is: "We can’t seem to find your ads script. Check our FAQ for troubleshooting options." I have already ensured that both the browser and site caches are clear, and I’ve confirmed that no plugins are collapsing. Additionally, I have double-checked that the code integrations on my site are correct, yet I am still facing this issue.

I would be incredibly grateful if you could look into this matter and assist me in resolving it as soon as possible. If there are any specific steps or further details you need from my end, please let me know. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your time and support. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Warm regards,

    Nabeel

My site https://techrelated.site/ ads are not showing in the content after I changed the theme. Please recrawl it and, if possible, optimize the ads for it. I changed the theme in the hope that it will work better, as I was not getting good RPMs before. Thank you!

Hi Nabeel Ahmad , I had our script recrawl your site and I'm now seeing your in-content ads. However, your site will not serve any sticky sidebar ads while you have a sticky sidebar, so if you want to serve those ads, please remove the sticky functionality from your sidebar.

Hi Topstoryindia I had our script recrawl your site, but it looks like you're using the Elementor page builder and multiple different templates. Journey is not compatible with page builders since there are rarely consistent HTML selectors for the ad script to target, the content tends to be nested within <divs> instead of neatly below one HTML element, and the script can't target multiple different templates. Using the WordPress block editor is always our suggestion to avoid this issue. You can read about this in depth in this help article.

If you were to add a consistent class to the content section of your posts like .journey-ad-content-target and make sure all of the content isn't nested into sections, but instead is all within one container in the HTML, then it's possible we could get ads up and running, but it's never a guarantee with page builders.

Hi Darren B , I just had our script re-crawl your site and your ads have been re-targeted. However, on desktop, it looks like your sidebar is dropped below your content on all screen sizes. You'll want to get that adjusted to maximize your revenue.

Hello!. A few weeks ago you recrawled my site once we changed our theme. Thanks for doing that! It seems that Nerdpress has identified some issues with CLS issues on our site that we were hoping you could help us figure out.  Specifically,  NerdPress took a look and they can see in their Cloudflare tool that over the past 21 days there's an issue with CLS in the ingredient section of our recipe card.

Upon closer inspection, the issue is coming from the Video Ad that loads in the ingredient section of the recipe card on URLs like https://platein28.com/pork-milanese-lemon-arugula-salad/. I have a list of recipes, one of which is very long, that "1/2 cup finely grated or shredded parmesan cheese"  (see attachment)

So when the video ad loads in, it pushes part of it to a new line  (see attachment)

...and as a result pushes everything else under it down. As things are getting pushed page elements have to move around which contributes to CLS.

Is there anything you can do on your end to adjust the space the video loads into? Or any other recommendations?

    Thanks so much!

    -Marcie

    Hi,

I recently changed my website's theme and all ads are displaying from what I can tell, but the text implemented into my privacy policy by Journey has disappeared. I have tried doing everything I need to (clearing all caches etc), but the text is still missing. It was definitely a part of my privacy policy before I changed my theme.

Please do a recrawl of my site: https://flavourofthefilm.com/ - as my privacy policy link is still the same, I can't re-enter and submit it again.

    Thank you!

Hey Marcie Groller - thanks for reaching out! The behavior that you're seeing in your recipe cards is expected, as recipe card ads don't ‘reserve space’ like in-content ads, however, the majority of readers and traffic from Google's performance bots won't encounter CLS caused by this behavior, as triggering CLS here would require a refresh while in the recipe card, or if a reader was immediately taken to the recipe card after loading up a post.

That said, we do have an update coming in the future that will remove rare instances of these ads causing CLS.

I spent a few minutes this morning checking your site's CLS using Google's historical CWV tools, and it looks like Google was seeing CLS pre-theme change as well.

One thing you could potentially look into to help is adding a ‘smooth scroll’ to your Jump to Recipe button, so that readers are taken down to the recipe card over a few seconds, instead of immediately ‘jumped’ to the card.

Laura S - it can take a little time for Journey to identify the update Privacy Policy. I'm seeing the proper language in place as of this afternoon.

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
