Theme Change? Post here!
Pinned FeaturedIn general, we can work with almost any theme. The most important thing is that you have a sidebar that's at least 300 pixels wide and doesn't shrink to smaller than that. You'll also want a responsive design that includes a mobile view.
Since theme changes have been known to make ads disappear, we recommend launching a new theme during business hours which are Monday - Friday from 9am - 4pm CST.
Important reminders:
- If your new theme has a sticky sidebar, our script will not be able to place a sticky sidebar ad. You'll need to ‘un-stick’ your sidebar to make sure we can properly target an ad there.
- We recommend a font size between 18-22px and a line height of 1.6-1.8.
- Journey ad placement works best with long-form post content. Because of this - we only place content ads in post templates with long-form post content.
- Right now, Journey only places content ads throughout actual post content since otherwise these ads could break the layout of pages. We also don't currently have an option for manual ad placement, but you'll still have the adhesion banner ad and Universal Video Player able to load on the homepage.
Once you've changed your theme - please comment in this thread with your site URL so we can make sure selectors are correct and recrawl your site if need be!

Hi Guys,
I have just changed the layout on my website https://sport-calculator.com/
Especially for the individual calculator pages like: https://sport-calculator.com/calculators/gym/treadmill-calorie-calculator
Where I have added a grid layout which should lead to the ads being displayed left, right and on top of the main content class of the site. Could you please recrawl my site? Thank you! :)0 -

Hi there,
I switched to a CultivateWP theme on Monday. My ad revenue has tanked since the day it was changed. Are you able to look into this/recrawl the site?
Thanks so much!

Rebecca Harris - it looks like the underlying HTML of your site changed when you updated themes - I've recrawled your site, and it looks like in-content ads are now loading on my end.

My site https://glambun.com/ is currently not showing in-content ads after I recently changed the theme. Footer, sidebar, and video ads are displaying correctly, but content ads are missing.
I changed the theme hoping it would improve overall performance and RPMs, but it looks like the script may need to recrawl and retarget the new HTML structure.
If possible, I’d really appreciate it if you could:
Trigger a script recrawl for my site
Optimize ad placements for the new theme
Thank you so much for your help and support.
Have a great day!

Hey! I've recently changed my site to a Kadance theme and can see the sticky advert at the bottom of my site but nowhere else (sidebar, page content etc).
Could you check & request a re-crawl please? Thanks

Hello,
I joined your program in early December and later discovered that Grow/Journey doesn’t work optimally with page builders (I was using the Newspaper theme with tagDiv).
On December 27, I switched my site’s theme to Kadence (which is listed as compatible on this forum).
Would it be possible to re-crawl/rescans my site cinefilm-planet.fr so that the ads display again, particularly the in-content ads?
Thank you!

Pietro Romeo it looks like sidebar ads are displaying after disabling your sticky sidebar. Journey will only place ads on post content, and not on pages.

Support thank you so much but I still cannot see the sidebar ads :( can you look into it again for me please?
0 -
Matt G - it looks like there's a few different post templates in use on the site, which Journey was not able to pick up on. I've made an adjustment from our end.

Pietro Romeo - apologies - could I have you check once more?

All good, thank you!

Hello,
I made some updates to my site / theme in hopes to get the inline ads working. Can I get my site checked please? https://www.headcountcoffee.com/ mainly the blog / media sections.0 -
Hi Robert Bargas , I had our script recrawl your site. I'm now seeing your ads again so you should be good to go!

I am writing to request a manual script recrawl for my site: https://indiadatamap.com/ as I have recently switched my WordPress theme from Newspaper (tagDiv) to Blocksy.
Currently, I am only seeing adhesion and video ads. The in-content and sidebar ads are not appearing, even when testing with ?test=houseads & ?test=testAds in an incognito window.
I have already verified the following on my end:- Sidebar: Set to non-sticky and is more 300px wide.
- Content: I am using the standard WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) for my posts.
- Caching: All site and CDN caches have been cleared.

I was recently accepted into the Journey network (extremely excited). My site https://www.5050plus.com/ ads are either not showing properly or missing out. The site is designed by a page builder (Bricks builder) and I have gone through your extensive documentation on the possible effects of using a page builder on websites running the Grow ads.
Working with instructions from your online guide, I have included a custom content Class Name (.brxe-post-content) and I can see the adhesion ad, subscribe form and recommended content widget. Most of my articles are very long but I can only see either 2 ads or none at all. Would there be any way to use either HTML or a Class Name to specify where you want the ads to appear? Please help!0 -
Jonas Lindemann - Ads look great! It looks like your sidebar is sticking a bit down the page, which is overlapping the sticky sidebar ad
