If you have established your business or changed your business entity type since the last time you filed taxes, you will also need to update the Entity Type and Company name in your Payment Profile.
Head to the Analytics Tab in your Grow Publisher Portal and select the View Payments button. Then select Payment Profile.
In Step 1 in the Type field, you will select Company (instead of Individual) if you have a registered business entity.
In the Company field, use the company name that is associated with your EIN. This name will need to match what is on your W9, so use the business name listed on your incorporation documents.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOT ENTER COMPANY INFORMATION IN THESE FIELDS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A REGISTERED ENTITY (ex. LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp).
What you enter here will affect your tax documents.
Once you have edited those fields, scroll to the bottom and select Next to advance through the next steps.
PRO TIP: In Step 2, if you see a blank screen like this:
Just scroll up to see the Next button.
Step 3 is where you will need to edit your W9 to reflect your business name, EIN, address, etc. These details should match what you entered in Step 1.
