RESOLVED 4/9 - ad script internal service error when onboarding
Hello, I've gone through nearly all (if not every) post related to the "We can’t seem to find your ads script" issue and tried every suggested solution I could find. However, I’m still encountering the error when adding Journey’s ad script to my second approval site: https://vegetables.top.
What’s puzzling is that my first site with Journey (set up a few months ago without this issue) has been working perfectly, despite having the same configuration and hosting provider as this second site. I even followed up with my hosting provider yesterday, and they confirmed that there are no server-side blocks or issues on their end.
I'd really appreciate any help you can provide in resolving this.
Thanks so much in advance!
Mashi

Our engineering team has resolved this issue.
If you're still running into this, please log out and then back into your Grow account, and continue onboarding.
If you are still having problems after that please review the Troubleshooting Your Missing Ad Script, How to Remove Existing Ads (if you're getting a conflicting ad code error), and Troubleshooting Your Missing Ads.txt File help articles.
Thank you!

Facing the same problem. I have done all the steps for clearing the cache.. Grow automatically fetched the settings, and I have enabled it, but till now the problem persists. I have checked the ads.txt file, which is not changed. I think, implementation of the setting is not actually able to write on the ads.txt file (I may be wrong absolutely).

Hello,
My website was recently approved for the Journey platform. I have been trying for the past 3 days to activate the Ads Script, but it keeps showing the error "We can’t seem to find your ads script. Check our FAQ for troubleshooting options.".I have tried all the steps but the issue remains unresolved.

I'm having the same problem on my site. I added the ad script correctly and checked that it is in the
<head>. I have also tested everything, from clearing the cache to checking DNS propagation. I even contacted my hosting provider, who confirmed that there were no blocks on their end. They also cleared the cache and saw that Imunify360/ModSecurity might be causing the problem. However, I can't change those settings because I'm on a shared cloud plan. It’s frustrating because the script is clearly there, yet Mediavine’s system still can’t detect it. I have also seen reCAPTCHA challenges when using tools like PageSpeed Insights. These challenges might be blocking the crawler.
Thanks for bringing this up — I’m following this thread closely and hoping for a solution as well!

Hi david muraev - I'm seeing that Journey was able to find your site's ads.txt file.
I'm going to close this thread for now, as the original issue referenced at the top of the thread has been resolved, but feel free to follow up on an existing thread if you have any other questions!
