    Dear Mediavine Support Team,

One of my other websites has just been approved, and it also uses multiple custom post types. Could you please help enable in-content ads for this site as well?

Here is an example page that uses a custom post type:
    https://www.archeworks.org/inspiration/top-rustic-outdoor-kitchen-inspirations/

    Thank you for your help!

    Best regards,
    Sam

lacademie it looks like you haven't started the Journey onboarding process. You'll need to log into your Grow dashboard, click “Finish Journey Setup”, and complete the onboarding process. Then ads should start loading on the site automatically once you finish all of the steps.

Thank you for your response. I have already completed the Journey Setup for all three sites (heythattastesgood.com, velocityartanddesign.com, and archeworks.org).

I noticed that in-content ads are now displaying correctly on archeworks.org. However, they are still not appearing on custom post types for the following domains:

Could you please check and enable in-content ads for these custom post types?

Additionally, is there a way to configure in-content ads to automatically display on any future custom post types that follow a similar content structure? This would help ensure that ads appear seamlessly without requiring manual adjustments each time a new custom post type is created.

    I appreciate your support!

    Best regards,
    Sam

lacademie I just had the script recrawl the site, so you should be seeing content ads on all post content now. There isn't a way to manually add ads to a post or have ads appear on custom post types - as long as they use this template though and the class .single .entry-content-wrap > .entry-content is on the post and contains all of the post content, they should automatically get ads.

    Thanks!

I'm having a similar issue. The ads are showing fine on regular posts but only the sticky footer ad shows on a custom post type, for example https://explore.photography/article/ithaca-new-york/.

Marc It looks like the script was targeting .single-post instead of just the .single template. I had it recrawl the site so ads should be good to go now. Thanks!

Hi Rachel or Journey by Mediavine Support Team,

Could you help me recrawl in-content ads for this site with a different post type? Please check the following URL:
    https://www.thebreslin.com/recipe/minute-homemade-ricotta-recipe/

Additionally, could you configure it to focus on displaying ads for posts with the class single-*** or single so that we don’t have to submit multiple requests?

    Thanks!

Hey lacademie, we did another recrawl and this should be good to go now. The setting is a bit more broad this time around, so you should be seeing in-content ads on your various post types!

I'm also having the same issue, ads are showing fine on regular posts but only the sticky sidebar ad and ads in the recipe card show on a custom post type, for example

    https://delishglobe.com/recipe/pizza-napoletana-neapolitan-pizza/

Hi Jubel Ahmed - Journey has just finished recrawling your site, and I'm now seeing ads on the post you've linked.

    Hi there Support,

I'm having the same problem on my site, with the exception that both the ads and the default spotlight form aren't being displayed on the custom post type pages:

    Thank you!

Hi, I am seeing what I believe is the same issue with a custom post type “report” on our site: https://goddessgift.com/report/22975/ The ads shows up in the bottom banner, and sometimes there is a video in the bottom (often not) but there is no inline body ads?

Great if you could explore this, and let me know if there is a problem on our end, or if you are able to adjust your crawl to also include these CPT pages.

    thx!

Hi there.  I found this thread as I was searching with similar issues. My custom post types also are not showing ads. I'm fairly new to Journey, it has only been 5 days, but I am only getting the footer and side video ads.

    https://dfwcrafts.com/event/fallfest-at-first-rowlett/

Is there a way to I can request to have these custom post types to also have in-page ads?  These custom post types accounts for decent amount of my content.  Would re-crawling resolve this?

    Appreciate your help.

Hey Tania Cardenas - it looks like you're using a pagebuilder on your site, and Journey isn't able to find a unique class or ID for the ‘content’ container of these pages. If you're able to add an ID or class of ‘jrny-content’ to these pages, the script should pick up these pages.

Support Correct, I am using Beaver Builder.  Would this ID/class need to be added somewhere specific on the page? Let me know and I will start working on it.  I did try just adding it in the main content module as an ID, but I'm not sure if that was the best way to go about it or how long it would take to see if it worked.

    Appreciate your help!

Tania Cardenas - thanks for following up! Ideally, you would want this to be on the innermost ‘content’ container for Journey to effectively place in-content ads. You may want to reach out to Beaver Builder for further support if you haven't figured out a good method to accomplish this.

Page builders, by the nature of how they nest and structure HTML, are why we technically have page builders listed as ‘incompatible’.

Hi support team I don't see email from in the custom post type content. Any solution to show this email from to all my site custom post type. Also the like option is open but don't show with share button in bottom corner.

Here the example of my custom post type: https://rankfourier.com/indoor-outdoor-key-lime-tree-growing-guide/

    Afternoon Support Team,

I saw in some of the earlier replies in the thread that you said having the script rescrawl the site fixed the issue with ads showing on custom post types.

Is this something we can do ourselves via the plugin or does the support team have to do it?

I only have a few articles on my custom post types right now but it's something I am planning on scaling into heavily over the coming weeks.

I've checked my current ones and no ads are showing on them.

    Cheers

    Shaun

Hey Shaun Marrs - Recrawling the site is a process that we have to initiate on our end. If you don't mind sharing the posts you're referring to, we'll be happy to take a look and get them recrawled. We can also point out any other issues that would prevent ad placements from showing, so let us know what posts you're looking at and we're happy to help

My website has no ads in the sidebar and some articles have 10 to 12 ads and some have two or three ads.

ramshayaseen you're currently running a sticky sidebar, which is incompatible with a sticky sidebar ad. Disabling this will allow Journey to place this ad on your site.

Hi, the problem happens with my website also. In-content ads don't show up on the custom post type, they show up only on the regular posts. Can you make it such that your script targets all .single templates instead of just the .single-post template (so I don't need to submit any similar requests in the future)?

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
