Only Showing Grow Ads
Hi,
I installed Journey 10 days ago and the only ads that have been shown are Grow ads. On top of that the RPMs are averaging about $2 (total) and CPM $0.25.
I have a 90% American audience and 4 minute 50-second season engagement time (GA statistic).
Most posts are 1,000 words with images, and those particular pages are still getting $2-3 RPMs.
Note: The cache was cleared on the first day and has been cleared multiple times since.

Hey Alyssa Grenfell - Since you just launched now 14 days ago, you're more than likely still in what we call “the ramp-up" period - which is like the getting-to-know-you stage when you switch ad management companies. You can read more about that here.
It can take some time for advertisers to learn about your site and how they want to spend on it. How long or fast this period is varies from site to site, depending on a ton of different factors. Sometimes it's relatively quick, and sometimes it takes a bit longer!
I did take a look at your site though and I'm seeing a bunch of different ads all serving as expected.

Just to be safe though you'll want to make sure there aren't any conflicts with your Journey script or your Grow script. I'll include the help articles below on how to check.:
One thing I did notice when I was poking around is that you have a lot of traffic going to your homepage. Homepages don't serve in content or sidebar ads the way a post does so they're tough to monetize and advertisers don't typically spend on them the way they would on a post.
Having traffic to your homepage isn't necessarily a bad thing, since readers are using this page as a jumping point to get to your content. We always recommend making sure that, when it comes to your homepage, any content you want your readers to go to is placed closer to the top to drive users toward that post, and then make sure that the post is as optimized as possible.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply! I understand that pages like the homepage and category pages have low RPMs.
I am specifically talking and more focused on the post RPMs. For example, a popular post is a long form article with 1,200 words, a video, and 3 images with a high user session time.
The RPMs are still about $1.8, and the CPMS of $0.31 is generally low given that the user base is over 70% USA and the majority of the rest in Canada, the UK, and Australia.

How long does this “the ramp-up" usually last?
Thank you so much for the support.

Hello. I was wondering why after months on Grow I am only seeing Grow ads in many of my posts. I don't see any other ads apart from Grow in most of my posts and in all spots. Please advise.
Thanks,
Maria

Hi Maria Paravantes - I checked your site, and I'm seeing ads load in:

More information on why you may be seeing these ads can be found here.

Hello, and thank you for the quick response! I've been checking from my computer and phone these last few days and only saw Grow ads. I just read the link so it appears that it's normal. Since you're seeing ads on your side, we're fine. Thanks again!
