    Hi Ed,

We are unable to utilize multiple selectors for single ad units. If you would like the sticky sidebar to appear on all three of those page types, the sidebar selector should be the same for all three templates.

Additionally, your recipe pages already have sticky sidebar content. Unless you remove the sticky effect from that sidebar, we are unable to target a sticky sidebar ad.

Thank you for the reply, I thought the sidebar had to be sticky in order to show sticky sidebar ads, so I will remove the sticky feature from the sidebar on the recipe pages template right now.

Regarding the other pages I mentioned, you said “the sidebar selector should be the same for all three templates”, can you explain what that means and what is a selector?

    Thank you,

    Ed

This article contains more information on selectors and why they matter when it comes to targeting your ads. Currently, all your sidebars are created using different selectors, likely because each page type is using a different template. It would be best to target ads where the majority of traffic should arrive, your content: in this case, the recipe post.

Ok thank you, I removed the the sticky feature from the sidebar on the recipe theme template. Does my site have to be recrawled for the sticky sidebar ad to show?

    Thanks,

    Ed

    Hi Doncyber,

Your site has been recrawled and the sticky sidebar ad is now serving.

    Ed,

Your site has also been recrawled and the sticky sidebar ad is serving in your recipe posts.
