Sep 17, 2025 - GA/Grow Analtyics Discrepancy
Grow has suddenly started counting a lot less sessions than Google Analytics for my site and it‘s affecting my earnings significantly. Is there something I can do?

Our team is currently investigating reports of discrepancies between Grow Analytics and Google Analytics data.
There will always be some variance between the two platforms, which is expected. You can read more about that here:
Why is Grow Analytics Reporting Different Than GA4
⚠️ It's important to remember - these discrepancies do not impact revenue. To learn more about how your earnings are calculated, check out this help article.
Understanding Your EarningsTL;DR - Your earnings and impressions are tracked separately through the ad server and aren’t dependent on either Grow Analytics or Google Analytics.
We'll follow up in this thread when we know more - thanks! -
Hi vera
We have an ongoing thread about the differences between Google Analytics and Grow Analytics here.We also have a help article that talks about it a little further.
Why Is Grow Analytics Reporting Different Than GA4?
I mentioned this in the other thread but just to make sure it's not lost in the shuffle -
You're paid through impressions - not sessions. Your earnings and impressions are tracked separately by the ad server, and they're not based on analytics. This means that your earnings will still be accurate and unaffected by any analytic issues that may occur.

Hi Support
I think there is a issue with session count, from last 4 days my session are not being count, it's showing only 30 sessions.
I have tried all the things you guys mention to do, like grow connection and other, I'm sure there is no issue with the Grow code, that is placed on my site and I have also excluded it from all the optimization.
Please take a look 🙏

Same here. Earnings, impressions, etc all look normal, but sessions and pageviews are down significantly.

Hi there! Our data team is reviewing analytics from 11/20 onward since they seem unusually low for some sites. This isn’t revenue impacting at all - it’s only an analytics reporting issue. We'll post updates in this open thread whenever we have more information.
Thanks!

There is a huge difference in sessions on Google anaylitics sessions are almost 1000+ and on Mediavine Journey only 300 sessions that is not a little difference.
Also RPM is more than $71 which I guess is due to a glitch on my website. I have submitted my request on the this community but received a respose that there is not any glitch.
Please look into it because this is not a little difference it is almost 700 sessions difference on Journey and Google Analytics
