    Hey all!

    I have an update.

We heard back from Tipalti and they informed us that INR eChecks are available as a payment option again.

If you put your payments on hold, you can now select eCheck as your payment method in your Payment Profile. If you put your payments on hold or still have not received your October payment, please reach out to payments@journeymv.com so we can resubmit the payment if need be.

If you changed your payment method, you can choose to keep that payment method or change it back to eCheck in time for the November payment.

    Done, email sent.

Hey Support , I am about to receive my first payment from Journey next month. I am from India and I have ‘Local Bank Transfer’ set as my preferred payment method. Is this the right choice or should I go for 'Wire transfer'? May I know the difference between these two?

Hey @CV, I'm also going to receive a payment in December. I have chosen a local Bank Transfer as my payment method.
Is all thing are normal now? How did you resolve the Bank issue?
    Please tell me.

Hey, Yadav. I have not resolved it yet. I just heard back from Mediavine. Unfortunately, MV does not have the specific document my bank (HDFC) is asking for. So I have to ask the bank to reject the payment, and let MV send me the payment through a different method. If your bank is other than HDFC, you may have to go through a different process. Hope it helps!

Hey CV, In past I have recieved payments from Ezoic and even through local bank transfer from AdSense,

I remember they only ask me to do a little changes like choosing why the remittance is coming, from advertisements I choosen and my payment deposited to my account in just in a hour.

Is this case different? Can you please tell me what bank is exactly asking.

CV Please tell some more things like what currency you have chosen as payment in Journey dashboard INR or USD, and I have the same bank HDFC.

How did you get the email, it should be like you got a $400 remittance from this, how was yours?

The bank has said it cannot process the payment without the invoice. Hence I asked it to reject the payment. I chose USD in the dashboard. The mail came from Vostro Department of HDFC with the subject "Vostro Inward: Remittance received in INR Hold". They had asked me to submit a declaration form and supporting documents such as invoice.

Nope. Had to choose Paypal last time but was a bit dissappointed with conversion charges. This time I have chosen Payoneer. Let's see how much the charges are.

    Hey Support Support,

Does the payment related issues still persists for Indian publisher. Because in the payment section, I could find that payment approval date is Feb 3, but still as of Feb 6 00.30AM IST. I don't see any email related to payment either from the bank or tipalti.

My payment method is - Local Bank Transfer

What's happening? When can I have the payment in my bank account?

Thank you Mary for quick response. I have already sent an email to payments team at Mediavine and waiting for their response. And yes, I am banking with HDFC.

Hi, You can use Skydo or create and submit a proper Invoice to HDFC. There shouldn't be any problem after.

Deepak Yadav Thanks for your help, buddy!

I also tried creating a Wise account, but they are asking me to upload a contract between me and Mediavine. I’m not sure why this is required—have you faced this issue?

Also, regarding HDFC, do I need to create and submit an invoice every month for each payment? Do I need to physically visit the branch to do so?

I’m new to this process—previously, I was using AdSense, where I didn’t have to go through these steps. If you could elaborate on the invoice process and any additional formalities, I’d really appreciate it.

Have you also sent any email to the Payments team at Mediavine? Did you hear back anything from them?

    Thanks in advance!

Hello. I saw that the first post started by the Journey team has been updated 3 days back. Does this mean that Local Bank Transfer eCheck payment in INR issue is still ongoing? or is it fine now? because payment was submitted on 3rd Feb (November 2024 and also October 2024 adjustment one). If still issue is there and i DO NOT opt to hold the payment or change payment methods, will that cause an issue?

Ya I also have the Hdfc bank account, but my go through SKYDO to my account. Most of the banks gives less rate compare to what you see on Google. That' why!

And for receiving payments you have to create an Invoice and submit it to the HDFC if they are asking for every payment, it better to go with Skydo, Even on Skydo you have create and assign a Invoice every time you are receiving the payment but there it will be very easy because it built in.
