If you are running Journey ads on more than one site you own, here's how to set up multiple payment profiles. Each site MUST have a Payment Profile.
Your sites can:
- Share one Payment Profile,
- Have separate Payment Profiles, or
- Have a mixture of shared and separate Payment Profiles, if you have more than two sites.
Below, we detail how to set up a separate payment profile for each site you own, as well as how to share/reuse a payment profile for multiple sites.
Set up your first Payment Profile
When you are signing up for Journey for the first time, or want to create separate Payment Profiles, you’ll want to follow the onboarding steps found here.
Re-use a Payment Profile
To get paid for two sites using the same payment method, you will need to use the same payment profile. When you’re onboarding your site, you’ll click “Select Existing Payee Profile”, within the Connect Your Payment Information modal.
Click the site you wish to set up, which will share the same Payment Profile as the first site (whose Payment Profile is already set up).
Separate Payment Profiles
To get paid separately for two or more sites, you will need to create a NEW Payee Payment Profile for each site that will be paid separately. You can follow the onboarding steps found here.
Can my Mediavine site and my Journey site share the same Payment Profile?
No. Because Journey is its own independent ad management offering, the payments would be separate. While they can share the same payment method or be paid to the same bank account, they would not be able to share the same Payment Profile.
