    Yes, this is extremely frustrating.  Since 9/15 my sessions have been way off from GA. My impressions have been anywhere from 3,000 to just under 4,000 and my RPMs have been the highest they've ever been($68+).   But my earnings are way down.  Is there an update on the matter?

    For example: 9/1/25 earnings: $2.48, RPM-$13.79 impressions-3,057

    9/20 earnings: $3, RPM-$91.20 impressions-2,784.

    Hi there, I'm having the same issue as others in this thread. My RPMs have gone wild in the past two weeks - over $100 yesterday and over $200 on my second site - yet I'm not benefitting from these increased rates because Grow seems to be misreporting traffic. My weekly impressions and page views are far lower than on GA4. This is a huge issue. I hope that you can find an answer soon - it's not fair to all of us working hard to optimize our sites.

    Hi folks, our team will provide updates as they become available here

    I do understand the frustration regarding the discrepancy, and I hope to provide some clarity.

    As a friendly reminder, sessions, either from Google or Grow Analytics,  are not how earnings are calculated on a site. The Journey script calculates earnings independent of either tool through ad impressions.

    Your earnings will be accurate despite an analytics connection.

    This means that, even if analytic reporting tools (Google Analytics or Grow Analytics) were missing from a site, your earnings would remain accurate, as these are calculated by the Journey Script

    RPMs are a measurement tool we provide to give you insight into how well your traffic is monetizing. The exact formula is:

     RPM = (Total Revenue/Total Pageviews) * 1000

    Total Revenue - This is generated by the Journey script. It is an accurate representation of how many ad sessions are generated by readers on your site.

    Total Pageviews - This is generated by either Google Analytics or Grow Analytics. If either traffic source is inaccurately reporting, your RPM will also be represented inaccurately.

    This is why many of you are seeing inflated RPM, as Grow Analytics is currently underreporting sessions. This makes RPM currently inaccurate if you're running Grow Analytics, but RPM does not determine how much revenue you make from ads.

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
