Sticky footer ads cannot be closed?
The mediavine sticky footer that runs ads at the bottom of the screen sometimes covers important buttons, even for myself when I am working in the backend of the site. So I am wondering… is there not an X to close this out somewhere just like the video ads? I can't seem to find it, but wihtout a way to minimize or remove the banner, I am having to crawl into the html and turn it off (temporarily) just so I can access buttons to save image data etc.
Also, is there a way to turn adds off for admins or whenever I am in the page builder? That would help with the button covering for myself, but it still wouldn't resolve the usability issues I am seeing in some areas. I have already redesigned some important areas, but I would love to know if I am missing the “x” or way to minimize this when needed?
Thanks

Hey Tania Cardenas - the adhesion ad is unable to be closed out of. If you're able to add global CSS, you could try adding a bit of padding to the bottom of the <body> to account for the additional space this ad unit uses, so you could still access those buttons.

Is there a way to turn the ad unit off for the backend / admin pages of Wordpress?

Tania Cardenas there isn't a way to turn off ads when in the backend, so using an ad blocking extension when working on your site is one potential solution if you need to remove ads from the page while you're working.
