RPM/CPMs decrease to nothing
Please help! I'm unsure why my RPM/CPMs have decreased to pennies, as my sessions have increased.

Hey khristine jackson! I looked over your site, and I noticed you have two instances of the ad script installed, and one of these instances is being optimized by your Perfmatters plugin:

Having multiple instances of the ad script installed can cause ad performance issues, and optimizing the ad script can cause technical conflicts as well. You'll want to remove the outlined script installation from your site, and also ensure scriptwrapper is excluded from any JavaScript optimization settings in Perfmatters, as well any other optimization plugins you may be running.

Thank you for getting back to me. Big Scoots was able to assist with fixing the issues with the ad script. How soon can I see the results?

Hey khristine jackson - just a quick update from my previous message, I've reached out to our engineers for a closer look at the high amount of sessions you're seeing on your top posts. As soon as we have an update, we'll be in touch.
The lower RPMs you're seeing look to be due to these posts, as RPM is calculated using impressions over sessions. If there's a increase in sessions without a increase in revenue, it can cause rpms to inaccurately inflate/deflate.As a reminder, we use a separate set of metrics to determine how much revenue you make on any given post, meaning that even with inaccurate session data and RPM, you're still accurately paid for the number of impressions on any given post.

Hi khristine jackson Our engineers took a look at the data we're receiving from Google on the top three posts on your Journey Dashboard, and we can confirm that the session data from Google looks to be accurate in the sense that this is what they're reporting, however, when we compare the session data from Google to the session data from Grow on these posts, Grow is reporting significantly less traffic which is more in line with session data from other posts on your site.
The mismatch and inflated numbers from Google could point to an issue with the way that Google Analytics is set up on these posts in particular. You may want to reach out to a Google Analytics expert see if they can look into why traffic on these posts is significantly higher than your other posts.
One other thing to note - I also had our engineers double-check to ensure that the impression data (this is the number of times your ads are ‘viewed' on a post) on these posts is accurate. The reason for the lower RPMs is likely due to the inflated number of sessions on these posts.

Hi, I also have Perfmatters on my site and quite low RPM. Could you check and give me guidelines - chaosandwine.com. Thanks!
