Hey Zahid Kashif - You originally asked me to remove the site you had sold from your dashboard; which is what we did. Even without the dashboard, those payments would not be lost and any money made while the account was under your ownership would still go out as regularly scheduled provided thresholds are met.

I can't speak to the application status for the new owner. Approval for new owners is not guaranteed and in most cases we still require 30 days of data before determining eligibility.

I did not transfer the ownership of my dashboard; I just sold the site due to my pending payments. I have not sold the dashboard. Now, since the site was removed from the dashboard, I can no longer see my upcoming payments for the site I sold, which is riddlesacademy.com. Could you please clarify my payments will released to me as scheduled? This is my only concern.

Zahid Kashif - Correct. The new owner would have their own dashboard which they have already created. Your dashboard was not associated with theirs. The original dashboard was deleted as per your request.

Your earnings were above the threshold before the site sale, so that payment will go out as regularly scheduled.

    Ok Thanks for the clarification.

I am facing a difficult situation. I sold the site, which was earning very well and had 140k traffic, with 80% of it coming from tier 1 countries. However, the application is still pending for approval after 2 weeks when the new owner applied. Now, they are not releasing my funds until the site is approved again by Mediavine Journey.

Now i am Thinking i should have transfer the dashboard to buyer..

And one more thing, if I transferred the dashboard for that site, would the pending payments from that dashboard still remain with me even after transferring the ownership of the sold site?

Site Got 140k sessions , adsense approved , 80% traffic from tier 1 countries , and it was on mediavine journey before sale for 6 months and still i am waiting for approval for over 2 weeks now  so that buyer release my funds.

@Zahid Kashif - The new owner shouldn’t have access to the funds associated with your dashboard from before the sale unless you switched the payment profile to their account.

Approvals are not guaranteed; every site will be evaluated independently. Sales cannot be contingent on approval by Journey. You also would not be allowed to transfer the dashboard over.

Do not share your login information and you would not be able to transfer ownership, they have to create a new/separate account for security concerns. There can only be one owner listed in the Grow Publisher Portal as owner level accounts have access to sensitive information such as tax and payment details. If you transfer ownership, this gives the new owner the ability to change all of your payment account information which may be connected to other sites you own.

Any exchange of funds in relation to the sale of the site would be between you and the new owner and would not be something we can facilitate.

So, can we not transfer the ownership of the Mediavine Journey dashboard for a sold site, or should we not transfer it? I don’t understand.

You cannot transfer ownership of your Journey dashboard during a site sale. Please review the Site Sale help article here for further assistance.

One more thing, will I receive the remaining payments for the sold site all at once, or will they be released month by month?

I would not be able to speed up the approval or review process. Also they would be released on the regular month to month schedule.
