Privacy policy language

Is there specific language I should be pasting into my existing privacy policy? And language around cookies? I found online text to paste in specifically for Mediavine blogs, but was not sure if that was also relevant to websites with Journey? Thank you!

    Hi Augusta Ochi ! When the ad script is added to the site, it automatically adds the privacy policy language needed to run ads on your privacy policy page, so you don't need to take additional action.

    Great thank you for clearing that up! I did recently switch my privacy policy page from elementor to the Wordpress block editor, and may have accidentally deleted something from my privacy policy but wasn’t sure🤦🏻‍♀️. Will things get recrawled and the right script automatically apply again if I did accidentally delete a section when I transitioned to the block editor? Thanks again!

    Augusta Ochi it's dynamically added by the ad script, so you can't delete it from the privacy policy page. As long as the ad script is on your site, that's all that matters and it will load in.

    Hi there, with apologies for posting on an older topic, but I had the same question about whether I needed to include language specific to Journey by Mediavine in my privacy policy. I understand from the above that it should get added to my page automatically, but mine doesn't seem to have this (even though I've included my privacy policy URL in my Grow account settings since I first set it up). My blog is on the Blogger platform, if this makes a difference?

    Thank you for the reply! It wasn’t showing before but it started appearing later on the same day I posted the comment above. I assumed someone had fixed it then; maybe not but all seems to be good either way!

    Hi! I have this same question.  I see that the answer is that the script adds it, but I haven't seen it show up yet.  I also added my privacy policy in the sign-up process.  How long does it normally take to add?  Should I add it myself?  Thank you!!!

    Amanda Redpath  - it looks like the URL you submitted for your privacy policy was incorrect. I've made a quick adjustment on our end, and Journey should automatically update your privacy policy in a few days.
