Two domains, ads only showing on one
CompletedI was accepted into Journey and have placed the scripts on both sides of the site, but the ads only seems to be showing up on the Wordpress side (luxurylatinamerica.com/blog) and not the html site (www.luxurylatinamerica.com).
The latter is showing up on my Grow report (for pages where we have entered the script to test it), but with zero ad impressions. Occasionally I see one pop up in the footer, but it's almost always the “Want less ads like this one? Sign up for Grow.” So they're not paying anything.

Hey Tim Leffel - Thanks so much for letting us know! I've made an adjustment, which should help.

OK, let me know if I need to do anything.
Submitted a ticket before too that in Mexico, a blocked script is showing up from AVG and Avast listing the ad script from Mediavine, so that may be keeping the impressions down too. I'm seeing that on other Journey sites too, not just mine. (Not regular Mediavine ones though, just Journey sites.)0 -
Hi Tim Leffel ! We have a thread on this topic open, but this can be safely ignored. You can read more about it here, and I've copied the relevant parts below:
This pop up will only happen for readers using Avast Web Shield, and it looks like it's just a false flag from Avast since no scripts will actually download. It's very common to see this type of warning on pages running ad scripts when using a blocker like this. This ultimately should be a very low percentage of users, though, and likely only for those with an aggressive level of security configured.
I just wanted to follow up and let everyone know we've reached out to both Avast and AVG to request removal from their blacklist. If they'll work with us to help clear it up, we'll be happy to work with them.
However I did want to mention that neither of these companies reached out to us about any issues they had found and we've heard from no source that Journey ads cause any issues related to malware or viruses or even are susceptible to causing it. So we're confident that this is not a security concern and we are reaching out to remove those false flags.

AVG and Avast appear to be actually be blocking the script though, at least some of the time, which is keeping the ads from running. So it's not just annoying for the user to keep closing it (and making them think my website is going to give them a virus). It's impacting the ad load too.

Here's what that looks like on the page when the script can't load:

Tim Leffel Yes, if they're running Avast or AVG with certain settings, it will stop the ad script from loading unless the user changes their settings. This should be a very small percentage of users, and there isn't anything we're able to do on our end aside from report it as a false positive, which you can do in the above linked thread! We're willing to work with them and change things as needed, but there’s unfortunately not much we can do about the false positives at this point since the companies don’t give us a direct way to contact or communicate with them aside from these forms.

This seems like a tepid response to the ad equivalent of a building being on fire. I've gotten e-mails from readers about it and I'm seeing the dire warnings with AVG on normal default settings, which is what 99% of users are going to have set up. (I've never tweaked my settings.) I reported it when I first joined Journey weeks ago on the AVG site but it seems like management to management communication with humans and not bots is what's really needed if two of the largest anti-virus companies are considering the Journey script to be blacklist material. If you send me a management e-mail for this on your end I can try to get through on your behalf if Mediavine has given up.
