Hi Engin ! If you give the sidebar a common class like .sidebar, the script should be able to pick it up and place an ad there. The only other thing to keep in mind is the sidebar needs to be static and not stick as the user scrolls for the sidebar ad to work properly and for the script to be able to place an ad there.

    Hope this helps!

Please help me out here.  I was approved only yesterday and wanted to make sure that I have the sidebar setup done properly but as a total newbie, do not know how and what to do.  Rachel, or any of the support team, be able to help me, thanks in advance.

Hey Esme Slabbert! I see a sidebar ad implemented correctly on your site, so no further action is needed.

Generally speaking, Journey can target a sidebar ad on most themes without issues.

Ryan, Sorry me again.  I went incognito and only saw the “Want fewer ads like this one” for Grow in the body of my posts and on the side.
As its only one day will it populate with other ads soon?

    Hi Esme,

We have another thread on the topic that goes a bit more in depth about this topic here. Ultimately, you'll be served the placeholder ads if ad spend is low for you, but that doesn't mean that anything is broken or not working correctly. Ad spend could be low due to how often you visit the site, your location, detected cookies, and a host of other factors. So seeing the Grow placeholders on your end isn't uncommon given the nature of programmatic advertising. There can also be a ramp up period for advertisers to get to know your site since you just launched.

The site is looking just fine on our end, and we're not able to see the the backend or your wp admin. If you're having trouble accessing that, you'd want to reach out to your host. Thanks!!

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
