    Hi Rachel,
Day 3 on Journey for me, and I'm still not seeing sidebar ads.
Ryan instructed me to disable the sticky setting, which I did, but still no ads.
    Can you please check?

    Cheers

Hi De Wet Moolman ! It can take time for the script to automate ad placements after changes to the site, but I just checked and it looks like sidebar ads are displaying well now. Thanks!!

Hi Rachel Johnson Support Please can you also take a look at my website too and help me activate the side bar ads? Ads aren't showing in my sidebar yet either. My website is namastetonihao.com

All my blog posts have a side bar, the ad is suppose to come at the bottom of my side bar but nothing is showing yet.

    Example post: https://namastetonihao.com/best-hotels-north-shore-oahu/

I added the below HTML widget codes to my wordpress widget design in case you need these codes to target and make the side bar ads live.

<!-- First MediaVine Ad target -->

    <div id="sidebar_atf_target"></div>

<!-- Bottom MediaVine Ad target -->

    <div id="sidebar_btf_target"></div>

Han Jade Chan The sidebar ad was already targeted (see the screenshot below) and we responded to you in your initial post here. Please refer to that post for additional information. Thank you!

Hi - I'm not seeing sidebar ads either: https://jazzviews.net/florian-weber-imaginary-cycle/

Hi Matt ! There's not a sidebar ad loading because the sidebar sticks as the user scrolls. This will overlap and conflict with the sidebar ad. If you disable the sticky functionality of the sidebar, we can have the script re-crawl your site.

    Thanks!

Thanks Support , that's removed now if you can re-crawl Jazzviews.net!

Hi Luis Reginaldo Medilo! It looks like the script found sticky styling on the sidebar when it crawled the site, so the sidebar ad wasn't placed. We're not seeing the sticky styling on the sidebar now, so I had the script re-crawl the site: you should be seeing the sidebar ad now. Thanks!

Hello, I've just been accepted with my second site. Could you please check if I'm properly running sidebar ads because I can't make the houseads test work for some reason?

    Thank you.

Momchil the sidebar ad is running on your second site and I don't see any conflicts, so you should be all set.

I Can't see sidebar stick ads on my website can you help me with this issue?

Sahim Haneef It looks like your posts use a full-width template, so we wouldn't be able to get sidebar ads on the site unless you add a sidebar to posts. Thanks!

Hi, sidebar ads aren't showing up on my Food site.

The div id I set up for my page's sidebar ads area should be: #id_alg-bp-sidebar

Also, please recrawl ads for the In-content/Inside the article ads of the Food blog as they are not showing up correctly like my other two sites.

    Thanks

Hi, I also don't see ads in my sidebar or in content. Just recipe card.

Can you please check? Thank you!

Adam You should be seeing ads now! Your sidebar ad isn't sticking though because the sidebar element has the CSS rule height: 100% on it. This will force the sidebar ad to load at the bottom of the sidebar. If you remove this CSS rule, that should allow the sidebar ad to stick. If you need assistance with this, we recommend reaching out to the Journey community or a developer.

Marina Šestan ads are loading on your site now as well.

    Thanks!

    Hi again, Support

I saw the sidebar ads, and adjust the CSS rule height that you mentioned, but it's not on the div id area that I want it to be placed.

I want it on the div id of: #id_alg-bp-sidebar

    Thanks

Hi Adam. I'm not seeing the CSS adjusted on the site just yet - it looks like the sidebar is still reserving height. Additionally, our script will crawl the html and find the correct spot to place the sidebar ad. The sidebar ad should display only once and be the last item in the sidebar. I'm not actually seeing the ID that you referenced at all on the food site, but the ad is targeted correctly. You'll just want to update the CSS to remove the height style from the sidebar, and you should be all set there.

I also just checked on the other two sites and saw that the ID you referenced was being duplicated multiple times on posts so that the sidebar ad was being placed multiple times stacked. This is not how the ad is intended to display and could cause issues with advertisers bidding on the slot. I've had our script recrawl the other two sites, and the sidebar ad is now targeted correctly. You'll just want to update the CSS on those sites as well to remove the height so that it displays properly.

Hi John. Can I have multiple sidebar ads placement for the three sites of mine? Right now, it only shows one sidebar ads. If valid, these are the IDs to put:

    • #id_alg-sidebar-1
    • #id_alg-sidebar-2
    • #id_alg-sidebar-3
    • #id_alg-sidebar-4
    • #id_alg-sidebar-5
    • #id_alg-sidebar-6 (It's a sidebar on Related posts section)

Please tell me if you're still seeing the CSS and what exactly are them (CSS class, rules, etc.)

    OR

If you can disable sticky for your sidebar ads on your end, that would be great as I think my implementation of sticky makes more sense for my sites.

Adam Only one sticky sidebar ad can serve per post. There's no benefit to having the multiple ads in this way since the sidebar ad will refresh on its own. Also, adding multiple sidebar ads/ad targeting on your end to one post can lead to ad policy violations, so you'll need to remove any targeting added on your end as soon as possible if you haven't already. We also can't disable the sticky functionality of the sidebar ad.

I'm no longer seeing the CSS rule that was impacting the sidebar ad, so you should be good to go there.

It's worth noting that we're targeting the following element on your sites currently to place the sticky sidebar ad: .alg-blog--div--absolute--sidebar

We recommend not making changes to this class or the structure of the sidebar, because otherwise the sidebar ad could stop loading or cause display issues.

    Thanks!

    Support Ok noted.

One more thing, on Food blog, the sticky sidebar ad goes beyond my related posts section (for /recipe-ideas and /article url path blog posts), not like my other two sites which is perfectly sticky to the end of articles and not goes beyond related posts section.

    Thanks

Rachel Johnson Hi Rachel! I removed sticky coding from my sidebar so they should be ready for ad placement. Can you confirm this is resolved and ads can be shown? Thanks in advance!
