The MCM application process is straightforward and takes place right inside your dashboard. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Accept Your Invitation
When your site is ready, you’ll see a prompt to apply for MCM directly in your dashboard.
If you’re not ready yet and select “Later,” don’t worry the option will remain available whenever you’re ready to move forward.
Step 2: Submit Your Google Account Email
Once you begin the application, you’ll be asked to enter the email address associated with your Google Ad Manager (GAM) or Google AdSense account. This is the email you currently use with Google’s ad products.
Already running Mediavine on other sites, or using another ad provider? You likely already have a GAM or AdSense account, use that same email here.
Important: It’s essential to use the same email address across all your Google accounts. Google will flag and deny applications that appear to have duplicate accounts.
Step 3: Accept the Google Invitation
After submitting your email, Google will send an invitation directly to that address.
Here’s what to do when it arrives:
- Open the email from Google and click to view the request.
- Select “Continue” to be directed to Google’s Ad Manager.
- Review and accept the Terms and Conditions.
Once accepted, you’ll see a confirmation that your application has been submitted. Keep in mind: this confirms that your application went through; it doesn’t mean your site has been officially approved by Google just yet.
What Happens Next?
From here, the review is in Google’s hands. The timeline can vary:
- If you already have an existing Google Ad Manager account, the turnaround is typically quick.
- If this is your first time on Google Ad Manager, Google will walk you through their PIN verification process, which takes a bit longer before your site can be fully approved.
We’ll keep you updated in the dashboard as your approval progresses.
