FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS / ISSUES:
Where is my 1099 email? I didn't get one.

You will also not receive a 1099 if you earned less than $600 for the tax year (October 1 through September 30)
The amount on my 1099 is wrong

You may also want to check your filing status or check your earnings for the year; Journey does not issue 1099s to S Corps, C Corps, or any other non-individual LLC entities. If you file as one of these entity types, you may have received a form from us in the past, but our process has changed as tax rules and reporting requirements have evolved.
You will also not receive a 1099 if you earned less than $600 for the tax year (October 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025).
Should you need proof of income, your invoices are available for download in your Dashboard.

- If you did not opt in to e-delivery, you will be unable to opt in for this tax year. For a copy of your 1099, please reach out to us at payments@journeymv.com. For next year, be sure to select e-delivery when you complete your tax form.

I know PayPal sends a 1099-K. Will Journey also send a 1099 or have a copy of my 1099?
- No. If you were paid exclusively through PayPal throughout the year,k Journey will not issue a 1099. PayPal handles any required tax reporting for those payments under different IRS rules.
I have not received my PayPal 1099. Can you help?
- PayPal issues tax forms directly. If you have not received yours or have any questions about your tax form, please contact PayPal Support.
