Hi Journey Support,

I’m on Squarespace and I’m trying to confirm whether spacer blocks may be causing a broader targeting issue for in-content ads on my site.

I’ve noticed that the sticky/adhesion footer ad appears, but in-content ads are not showing as expected on my posts. I’m concerned this may not be isolated because I have around 150 published articles, and many of them were built with spacer blocks.

I’m sharing two examples:

1. Post where I already removed spacer blocks, but the issue still remains:

Could you please let me know:

- whether Squarespace spacer blocks are a general problem for Journey in-content ad targeting
- whether this could be affecting many posts sitewide, not just a single URL
- whether a recrawl/rescrape could solve this, or if older posts would need manual editing
- whether you can review my site structure and tell me if there is a broader Squarespace HTML/container issue

Since the sticky footer ad is showing, it seems the script is loading, so I’m trying to understand whether the missing in-content ads are related to spacer usage or to my Squarespace post structure more generally.

  Your ad selectors needed retargeting and a recrawl seems to have resolved this. 

  However, it does appear the spacer blocks do prevent in-content ads from appearing until deeper into the content, so you may want to remove them.
