Ads are serving as intended across your subdomains. As a site owner, you are more likely to see lower quality ads or placeholders when viewing your own site as you can run through ad spend allocated to your user ID quickly. This is even true in incognito windows. It is expected and not indicative of any issues.

You are not able to upload your own placeholders. However, it is good to remember your readers are not on site as much as you and will have a wholly different ad experience on your site. Even if you were seeing ads instead of placeholders, programmatic ads are interest-based and no two users will have identical ad experiences on any sites running programmatic ads.

It looks like there are multiple instances of Grow's scripts on your site, likely due to your manual installation on the subdomains. Removing these scripts could lead to Grow features working on your subdomains. You'll want to clear your subdomain's caches and caching plugins after removing the manually installed Grow scripts.

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
