Cannot install ads.txt file

I'm trying to progress my onboarding, but my web developer has confirmed that a physical ads.txt file cannot be added to the root of the site due to hosting restrictions (not on Wordpress).

They suggested that alternative verification methods, such as meta tags or other approaches, might be used instead. Could you please advise the best way to make my site compliant so we can complete onboarding and launch ads?

Culinarytravels an Ads.txt file is required for programmatic advertising from any ad network provider. If you are unable to host an Ads.txt file or set up a redirect to an Ads.txt file, you will not be able to serve ads on your site.
