Ads in blocks

My daughter is a mediavine ( not Journey) member/publisher and she was told a while back that ads do not appear in blocks (now called patterns?) on a post so she has to remove the blocks in order to benefit from ads in between those paragraphs and so she went back to each of her posts and removed every block. However, when I go to one of my own posts from the outside, I am seeing GROW ads in between the paragraphs of my blocks. Did something change or is this only for Journey…? Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Hi Lori! Journey will only place ads between blocks — Mediavine sites have a few additional features that require a more high-touch approach to manage, which is why we do not offer this on Journey.

    Thank you, but I AM seeing ads IN my blocks, not just IN BETWEEN them with Journey.
