Problem with ads.txt and ads script
Hello, Recently I have been experiencing problems with ads.txt, ads script and privacy policy, which needed refreshing several times a day. Do you know what could be the cause of it? On my end, I noticed unusual, possibly bot-generated traffic from Lanzhou in China and Singapore. It's just my guess, but it seems to me that there may be a correlation (I do have Claudflare enabled, though). Have you encountered this issue before? Is there a solution? I would appreciate any advice. The site is coolcorsica.com. Thank you lots, Karolina

Hello again, as an update to my previous message, I would like to reconfirm that the technical problem with ads script/ads.txt/privacy policy persists (the site is coolcorsica.com). I have to recover all three at least 10 times a day, as it is regularly flagged as missing in the to-do list on the dashboard. I never had this problem before. I appreciate any advice and help. Thank you, Karolina

Karolina Skonieczna - the test your dashboard does to verify that your site's Ads.txt file and script are in place runs multiple times in a day. If you're seeing warnings related to this, it's likely that there's something either on your site, the server where your site is hosted, or through Cloudflare that's blocking our crawlers from accessing your site.

Hi, updating my situation, if this helps you Karolina. I disabled my host cloudfare and made sure my js files were not concatenated. Try this, it helped me solve the same issue.

Hello and thank you for your reply. I contacted my host provider and was informed by the support that: “Upon checking, I could see that the hosting IP ios not pointed to the A records , the A records are pointing to CDN IP. I have updated the hosting IP; it may take time to propagate, that is, 4 to 8 hours. please chcek after 4 to 8 hours; it should work then.” So I will be keeping an eye on the ads script/text file warning. I hope that this will resolve the problem. Thank you again for your advice, Karolina

I'm having the same issue. My website is hosted by Site Ground. Do you have any advise on how to fix it please?

Hello Rosehud, In my case, the hosting provider was able to help with the ads script issue. My website's IP address was pointing incorrectly; I am not sure why that happened, but they sorted it out. I still use Cloudflare, though. Family History Foundation, thank you for your tips! Good luck to both of you K
