Analytics not working correctly
Hi, I switched themes and pushed my new site live from staging on the night of Oct.2. My sessions disappeared in my Journey dashboard, and I have been in contact with Big Scoots trying to figure this out. The Journey script was missing until yesterday afternoon. It was still showing 0 this morning, so I contacted them again and they said the Cookies Yes plugin was blocking GA. (In that dashboard it showed people accepting the consent form, but it wasn't showing they did in my session numbers. I just disconnected that plug in because they were not helping me, so I might need to try a different one. Can someone please help me figure out what I need to do?
Thanks!

Hey Kara Powers - thanks for reaching out! If you removed CookieYes, which allowed Google Analtyics sessions to once again be collected from visitors on your site, you should start to see session data collected once more on your Journey dashboard in the next 48 hours.
Feel free to follow up in a few days if you're still not seeing session data!0 -
Thanks, but I just got this email from Big Scoots. Can you help?
"I am not finding the Grow script on your website. Even though the Grow plugin is installed and is currently running, I think there should be a JavaScript added to the every page that compliments tracking and I am not seeing that. Can you check with Mediavine support, if they can provide it, we can add it. Alternatively, there might be a way to activate it from Grow that they might know of.
Other than that, GA4 is tracking and showing recent data."0 -
Hey Kara - I see the Grow script running on your site. This wouldn't impact session counts from Google, as we pull this data directly from Google analtyics.
