    Hey Molly Hartrup - thanks for reaching out! The Journey dashboard will only backfill data if there is any availalbe. If you've just created the property, you'll only see data from when the property was created and added to your site.

    So what I’m trying to figure out is tracking for the timeframe before I added GA4. I added an EST GA4 tag (I’m on CST so my original tag wouldn’t work), so how is the tracking backfilled before I added the EST tag? I’ve been on Journey for over a year, and I added the tag in the middle of the month. I’m just not clear on how the data is tracked for this month prior to me adding GA4 to track.  I hope this makes sense!

Journey is Self Supported
