RPM lower after switching from Site Ground to Big Scoots Journey hosting
I switched to Big Scoots hosting, specifically their Journey program about a week and a half ago from SiteGround hosting and noticed my RPM has slightly declined since the change. I was surprised because I thought moving to Big Scoots and the Journey program it would at least stay the same or improve. Is it likely to go up again? Is it because there has been a change, and if so, how long does it take to improve again?

Hey Risa Greenwood - If you had to guess - what date did you switch over to Big Scoots?

June 16/17. Also, if I can ask here, I received my first payment through my bank account May 2, but haven't received any payments since then. My dashboard shows an increased amount made over time. Thank you.

Hey Risa Greenwood - For any payment questions, I'd reach out to payments@journeymv.com. Please be sure to include the following:
- domain/URL
- email associated with the account
- amount expected to be paidImportant Note: We have a $100 payment threshold for most payment methods. If you’re inquiring about your payment, confirm it should be over $100.
As for your RPM - I see a slight dip right around the time you made the switch, but it looks like things have recovered, and I'm seeing the normal ebbs and flows of RPM.
Each site’s RPM is impacted by a ton of different factors like audience makeup, CPM, formatting, reader behavior, which devices or browsers most of their visitors are coming from, etc. As your CPM, traffic, and impressions fluctuate, so will your RPM. You can read more about that here.
The best thing to do is to make sure there aren't any conflicts with your Journey script and that your posts are as optimized as possible.0
