Google Analytics reports wrong numbers | Syncing to Journey
AnsweredI'm so incredibly frustrated. After syncing Google Analytics with Journey, my overall numbers are being reported incorrectly.
Google does not update the correct number of visits to your site until mid/late-day. Journey takes the morning numbers (which are often half) and uses that to determine revenue and analytics.
How can I remove my Google Analytics?

Hey Chelsea Wiltse - thanks for writing in! I definitely understand your concerns. The changes in reporting data from Google throughout the day are expected, as Google doesn't provide accurate data from GA4 properties until roughly 48 hours after the day closes. We do have a few changes scheduled for the dashboard to more clearly reflect this.
One key thing to note: Google Analytics is not used when calculating the total earned revenue for any given day. This is calculated separately by an internal ad server, and is accurate around 10 AM EST the following day.
While this does mean that you can see a slight fluctuation in RPM throughout the day as more sessions are reported from Google, it doesn't mean that you're earning any less, as we're using a different method to report earnings that's independent of Google Analtytics.
