Trouble Enabling Journey
I am trying to enable Journey and it keeps telling me there is conflicting code from Google Adsense. I have removed everything from the plugins, but I do have old posts where Google Adsense code is hard-coded. Will I need to go remove all of that?

I am getting the same problem? I can't seem to connect the Google G4 to Journey and my ads aren't showing. Did anyone help you?
Thank you,
Krystina

Hi Paul! Thank you for the updates. I didn't receive any reply either on 3 comments. Eekk, and my blog shutdown yesterday randomly after enabling the ads.
Let me see if I can do some research for you.

Hi Paul! So sorry, I wasn't able to be any help yet. Did you hear back from support by chance?
Thanks!

Hi Paul White
I just took a look at your site and you currently still have the Adsense script running on your site. You'll want to remove all usages of the “adsby” scripts throughout your site.0 -
I have scrubbed all of the code that I can find, emptied the trash, purged the cache and let it sit overnight just in case and I am still getting the message that Google Adsense code is on the site. I've searched posts and pages and can't find anything. Are there other searches I should do?

Hi Paul White
I'm still seeing some Adsense code running on your site

I found this as well and it seems to be related to Ezoic even though I have removed their plugin. Work on getting it removed now.

I finally got the snippet removed. I was trying to do manually by editing the html, but could not find where to make the edit. Since the snippet was related to Ezoic, I tried installing their plugin and seeing if that had options to remove it. Could not find anything, so I uninstalled the plugin, and that apparently did the trick. Please share this information for former Ezoic users.
