Payment via Payoneer
Hi Team,
I’m encountering a problem while completing the payment information section of the Journey Setup. Here’s the situation:
As a Chinese user, I have a Payoneer account that provides a U.S. bank account for receiving funds. However, I’m unable to finalize the payment details due to conflicting requirements.
Steps Taken:
-
Using My Real Chinese Address:
- I filled in my physical address in China.
- On the Payment Method tab, only three options appeared: Hold Payment, Wire Transfer, and PayPal.
- I selected Wire Transfer and entered my Payoneer U.S. bank details. However, the system rejected the SWIFT code, stating it does not match China’s format, blocking further progress.
-
Using Payoneer’s U.S. Address:
- I updated the address section with Payoneer’s provided U.S. details (name, street, zip, state).
- Selected Direct Deposit/ACH and entered my U.S. bank info (bank name, routing number, account number).
- The next step prompted a W-9 tax form, which I cannot complete as a non-U.S. citizen without an SSN/TIN.
Key Issue:
- If I use a Chinese address, the system requires a Chinese bank account.
- If I use a U.S. address, a W-9 form is mandatory. Neither option works for my Payoneer setup.
Additionally:
- The Analysis tab (which might offer alternative payment options) is unavailable until the setup is finalized.
- Selecting Hold My Payment still prevents ad activation until all steps are completed.
Could you please advise on resolving this conflict? I’d appreciate guidance on how to proceed with my Payoneer U.S. account without triggering tax form or regional validation errors.
Thank you for your support!
