Significant CPM Drop and Session Count Discrepancy
CompletedI've noticed a significant drop in my CPM over the past few days, which has severely impacted my revenue—even though my traffic has increased. The majority of my visitors are from top-tier countries, so this decline seems unusual.
Additionally, there seems to be an issue with how sessions are being counted. Over the last three days, my site has had more than 30K sessions, but only around 23K are being recorded. This discrepancy is concerning, and I’d appreciate any insights you can provide on what might be causing it.
Could you please look into both the CPM drop and the session count issue? Let me know if you need any additional data from my side.
Looking forward to your response

Hey karolina augaite!
I looked at your sessions, and it looks like there may have been a GA4 delay that impacted the session numbers you were seeing. When I look at your Journey analytics, I'm seeing over 30k sessions from March 1-3. Delays are always possible with GA4 analytics because of how the GA4 API functions, but your GA4 implementation currently looks good!
I also took a look at your CPM numbers, and since CPMs are impacted by factors like time of month, keywords, device type, etc. they can be hard to control and predict. It is also not uncommon for CPMs to drop around the start of a new month because advertisers are resetting their budgets, so you'll also want to keep that in mind when it comes to CPMs as well. Since your site did so well in February, it lloks this beginning of the month drop is a bit more pronounced.
