RPM Dropped by 50%, Is that a GLITCH?
Hi Journey Team,

My website funpackedlife.com's RPM Dropped by 50% today it was at around 12$ and today I got only 6$. For 3600 Pageviews I earned only $24. This is literally beyond by understanding. It really difficult to get quality traffic and these kind of RPMs are demotivating for me. RPMs are already down, I was expecting at least $20 from JOURNEY, these RPMs are not even covering expenses. These kinds of RPMS we were already getting from EZOIC. Today slash of another 50% has totally blown my mind. Kindly check my account and fix this issue ASAP.

Hey Kiran Batool - I took a look and ads are serving as expected. The only thing I did notice is that you are deferring Grow which I wouldn't recommend. This can impact Grow's functions and its ability to see your site. You should exclude Grow from any script optimization or minifcation. This article should help:
A good thing to remember is that RPM is just comparing your revenue to your traffic so as those numbers change so will your RPM.
RPM is also not the way you earn - it's calculated after the fact. Just because your RPM goes up doesn't mean you made more and if it goes down it doesn't always mean you made less. There's so much that goes into RPM - how engaged the traffic is, where they're located, how long they're on the page, what device they're using, what kind of CPMs the post has, what type of post or how it's formatted….it's a whole Pandora's Box situation.
When I look at your site I see ads serve as expected so the next best thing to do is to make sure there aren't any conflicts with your Journey script and that your posts are as optimized as possible.Instead of looking at RPM - I looked at your Total Impressions between 2/10-2/11 and it looks like they took a big drop which would also drop your RPM because Impressions are how your paid so that affects the revenue portion of your RPM.

I'd recommend looking at your Analytics to see if there was a shift in your traffic between those days and if they were behaving differently. Were they on the page for less time or did you have an uptick in traffic that doesn't monetize as well? I'd recommend checking out this help article to help you deep dive a bit.
