Ads Loading Really Slow

I noticed on my site https://www.seniortravelcentral.com/ that the ads are loading so slow that I can scroll down the page and as I do so, the ads are still trying to load. (I use SBI to host my website)

Does this mean that I am not earning income because of this? Our earnings have been really low compared to another advertisement platform that we used before Journey.

Any insight would be appreciated.

    Hey Jwhite - I took a look at your site, and I'm seeing ads load in quickly on my end!

    Advertisers are trying to reach your readers, not you as the site owner. As a site owner, since you're on the site more than your readers are, you may not always see ads appear on your site or take longer to load.

    You can always add ?test=houseads to the end of a post's URL to test and make sure ads are loading as expected.

    Hi! 

    I'm having the same problem on my website theantiquedjourney.com. Ads are still loading as I'm scrolling through and I've had readers and other bloggers comment to me about it. 

    If there's anything that we can do to improve this, any help would be appreciated.

    Rachel Granholm  I took a look at your site, and ads are loading as intended. It's normal to see the three loading dots continuously if an ad isn't served to you, and it doesn't indicate things aren't working properly. We have another thread here on the same topic - here's the relevant part for your convenience: 

    Journey ads are lazy loaded and the ad auction takes place in real time, so it's totally normal for ads not to load immediately. Also since you're the site owner and frequently visiting the site/logged into the site, the premium ad campaigns are quickly used up on your IP address within the first few pages views, so ads won't always be served to you. This could also be why it sometimes doesn't look like ads are loading or why it appears that ads are loading slowly. 

    The appearance of ads loading slowly can also be due to slower network connection, slower site speed, if your server is bogged down, and a host of other factors, so it can happen to any user if factors like this are at play. But again, everything is working as expected on your site on our end and there aren't any technical issues with the ads or scripts.

    Could you take a look at my site too? (realgirlreview.com) 

    I'm experiencing the same problem with slow loading ads. I've had friends view my website too from their end and they said that the loading times were slow too (if they loaded at all).
