Hi Coach Lisa ! You should be able to run ads using the existing Journey/Grow scripts from the main domain on the subdirectory. You would just want to make sure the scripts are in place on the subdirectory, and ads should display there.

    Thanks!

I can only see one ad at the bottom of my website, and it appears only on my main domain. For the subdirectory, I have installed the Grow script in the header and also installed and connected the Grow plugin to my Grow.me account, but I'm still unable to see ads there.

Hi Coach Lisa ! It looks like the main domain is mostly landing pages with varying HTML structure, and Journey will typically only place content ads throughout long form blog post content with consistent HTML structure, since otherwise these ads could break the layout of pages. We also don't currently have an option for manual ad placement, but you'll still have the adhesion banner ad and Universal Video Player able to load on pages, which are some of the most performant ad placements. Also, if there is any long form post content on the main domain in a post template, you can send a URL and we can see if ads would be possible.

For the subdirectory, I'm still not seeing the ad script - I only see the Grow script. You can manually install the ad script following these instructions.

    Thanks!

Hi, can you please let me know where I can find out the ad script.

Because I can only see the Grow script in my grow account.

Coach Lisa It's under Journey Settings → Ads Script.

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
