Hi Emma Reed - We aren't able to block ads from specific companies at this time.

Since our ads are programmatic, they are more tailored to the reader's browsing history and interests as opposed to the site itself. So the ads you see on your site wouldn't necessarily be the same ones your readers see.

Hi, I never look at Temu due to it being an awful company yet my website is consistently having these ads via Google ads pop up and it's not great when it's through blogs on sustainability. Can Google ads be removed at all if we can't target particular brands?

Programmatic advertising will target your readers' preferences and serve them things that are relevant to them so the types of brands they see will be specific to each reader. Advertisers use browser cookies to serve ads based on things like location, demographics, and browsing history, and those things are going to be different for every single reader. So there could be other things making advertisers think Temu might be relevant to you. I'd recommend clearing your browser history when you get a chance.

We don't currently have the ability to block specific ad categories or advertisers, but when I visit your site I'm seeing a variety of ads for Disney+, Amazon, Pampers, and Peacock.

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
