Hey Dan Ericsson - I'm getting ads when I visit your site on desktop, even without the /?test=houseads on the end of the URL.

You may want to check to make sure your browser isn't running any type of ad blocker and try again in an incognito window.

That said - I did notice that your sidebar is sticky on desktop though! You'll want to remove that sticky element from the sidebar or else it will keep the sidebar ad from serving.

Thank you so much Mary! Not sure what I've done wrong here but good to know others are seeing them. Appreciate the response.

Hi team, just to follow up on this I think I've de-stickied my sidebar but am still not seeing ads - looking at posts of a similar nature do I need you to manually trigger a recrawl? Would very much appreciate if you could do if so.

Hi Dan Ericsson ! The sidebar is still showing as sticky on our end. You'll want to make sure it isn't sticking when you visit in an incognito window since it could be related to caching. Once it isn't sticking in incognito, you can let us know and we can have the script recrawl the site.

Hi Rachel, thanks. Apologies if I’ve confused things - I should have clarified purposely hadn’t unstickied the homepage purposefully for UX, just the blog posts.

If you’re still seeing the blog pages as sticky, any help you can provide in how to unstick it very appreciated - it appears unstuck in my theme customiser.

Suggest this page as a test of where the sidebar should be working:

Hi Dan Ericsson ! The sidebar is still sticking on our end on posts. If you check in an incognito window and it isn't sticking for you, then it could be a caching issue, so I would clear all caching plugins, CDN caching if you use one, and server caching. If it isn't a caching issue and the sidebar is still sticking regardless when you check in incognito, then I'd recommend reaching out to your theme's support team for assistance.

    Thanks!

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
