hey Bex W - It looks like it was a Content Selector issue but we've got it fixed up now so I'm seeing in-content ads.

The sidebar ad is meant to be sticky but it should only be showing up on desktop - You can read more about that ad unit here.

Can you grab a screenshot of the ad unit you're having trouble with on mobile?

Hi Mary, thanks so much for the quick reply! The in-content ads are indeed now showing; many thanks for sorting this.

If the sidebar ad is only supposed to be showing on desktop then I think it’s probably fine. Because I’ve had to use the desktop theme for mobile, the sidebar ad does show on mobile but it doesn’t scroll as I scroll down the page. A couple of screenshots below.

Hi Bex W ! In general we recommend using a responsive template with a mobile-specific view since it's typically better for user experience and ad performance. That said, the sidebar not sticking in this scenario or not acting as it would on desktop is to be expected when using a desktop theme for mobile devices.

    Thank you!

Thanks, Rachel. No ads were showing up at all (not even the footer one) when I went back to using a mobile-responsive template (and the mobile templates Blogger offers aren’t very attractive), which was why I’d switched. Now that the in-content ads are working on desktop maybe I’ll try checking again.

Hi Bex W ! Usually we can target ads on Blogger mobile templates, but we'd have to see it live to know for sure. In general though, the script will have to retarget ads when you switch themes/templates since the underlying HTML changes and we use a specific class within the HTML to target content ads. So if you do start using a different template on mobile, you'll just want to let us know so we can have the script re-crawl the site on mobile to see if ads can be placed.

    Thanks!
