Currently, the majority of my website’s traffic is directed to the homepage, and I’ve noticed that the number of ads displayed on the homepage is relatively limited. This affects my overall ad revenue potential since most of the user engagement happens there.
Could you kindly guide me on the following:
- Is it possible to increase the number of ads displayed specifically on the homepage?
- If increasing ad density on the homepage isn’t feasible, could you suggest any alternative solutions to optimize ad revenue for homepage-heavy traffic?
I’d greatly appreciate your insights and assistance to ensure that my website’s ad setup maximizes its revenue potential.

Right now, Journey only places content ads throughout actual post content since otherwise these ads could break the layout of pages. We also don't currently have an option for manual ad placement, but you'll still have the adhesion banner ad and Universal Video Player able to load on the homepage…
Homepage visits generally turn into page views on the posts linked from the homepage, so a better strategy for monetizing homepage traffic is to take all of our optimization tips and ensure the posts linked early on your homepage are as optimized for ads as possible!
