Elementor and Journey workaround
Since qualifying for journey and installing the ads.text only my website, when I try to use Elementor to edit my blog posts, i get a message that says “Enable Safe Mode”. When I push the button, it allows me to edit my blog posts in elementor, however, without the WP recipe maker element, because safe mode shuts off all plugins. however I find I can edit the whole post in elementor, and then go back, shut off the grow, plugin, go back to elementor, insert the recipe through WP recipe maker. and then go back and turn grow back on. Kind of a pain, but it seems to work. However, a tech consultant, who has been trying to help me with this, said…
Is there a reason you are using Elementor for posts? This is generally not recommended and if you eventually get into Mediavine, they will ask you to use the default editor. Page builders mess up ad placements. Page builder are for pages, not posts.
Is that true that when I get into Mediavine, I will have to not use Elementor?

Hey Carole Yu - Elementor is generally compatible with Mediavine ads since there's more customization options with Mediavine, but we don't recommend using pagebuilders in general because they don't work as well with ads, which you can read about here.
For Journey though, Elementor will not always be compatible due to how it nests content, which you can learn more about in the above linked article.
Thanks!

Hi Ryan, as I have the same issue, can you give me a contact information to whom reach out to?
Thanks

Michael Mlynek if you're experiencing the issue from the original post, we would recommend trying an ad blocker extension to see if that resolves the issue. Otherwise, we don't have a workaround since page builders typically don't work with Journey ads.
Thanks!

Hey Rachel,
actually I responded to this one, as it was stated that some minor code adjustment is needed to work worth elementor (but the answer by Ryan has been changed though…) But in general are there option to still use elementor as it was stated? -obviously i understand that you cannot adjust to every single site…and unique problems one has….
Though in the competing time we need more visual impact and possibilities to use modern tools as elementor, thus I wonder if there are plans to utilize it more in the future?
