Hey Sahana Kulur - Journey does use a CMP (consent management platform), and it covers the display advertising portion of GDPR. If you live outside of the EU though, you wouldn't see it pop up since it's not required outside of the EU. If you need to collect consent outside of display advertising, you could use a separate consent service, but we aren't able to advise on consent outside of our CMP.

Support As a new Journey user, how can I learn more about Journey's CMP and the experience it provides? Am I be able to see the experience of an EU visitor to my site, even though I'm not in EU, somewhere? Thanks in advance for any tips.

Hey Erika Page - I love this question! So yes - you can add ?test=gdpr to the end of any URL and see what it would look like for your GDPR readers when the CMP pops up. It would look like this.

If they click on Manage Settings, they'll see the option to toggle off specific consents and/or just reject all.

Hello, My traffic is from EU and I get the cookie consents for people visiting from EU. No problem with that. But in the Google Analytics, I'm seeing this screen. Is there anything that I need to do to configure this screen below?

Please help with the guidelines or steps on what needs to be done.

Agalya Saravanan these are unrelated to Journey -  Consent Mode is specifically in relation to Google Marketing Platform advertising tools such as Google Ads. You can read more about that in this post

    Thanks!

Journey is Self Supported

Our support staff is monitoring this forum everyday for bugs related to ad delivery, the display and functionality of the Journey dashboard, and any bugs related to the onboarding process. We are typically unable to assist with non-bug related issues like RPM performance expectations, issues setting up the ads.txt file, and questions already answered by our existing help docs. Read here for a more detailed breakdown of how Journey is self-supported and our recommendations for how to find answers to common issues.
