In-Content Ads Loading Very Slow
CompletedI am currently having an issue with the in-content ads taking a long time to load. Specifically it is the <iframe> ads from Journey that have the sticky scroll feature. They are just grey blocks for a long time. I have turned off lazy loading images on my site but this does not resolve the issue. Any tips to help resolve this would be amazing.
Thanks!

Hi Rachel Granholm ! I took a look at your site, and ads are loading great on my end. Journey ads are lazy loaded and the ad auction takes place in real time, so it's totally normal for ads not to load immediately. Also since you're the site owner and frequently visiting the site/logged into the site, the premium ad campaigns are quickly used up on your IP address within the first few pages views, so ads won't always be served to you. This could also be why it sometimes doesn't look like ads are loading or why it appears that ads are loading slowly. However, this is completely normal behavior and everything we see on our end indicates ads are loading as expected for your readers.

Support I'm having this same issue with the inline/in-content ads taking a long time to load. After reading your comment above, I tried visiting my site on an iPad that I don't think has ever visited my blog before, and many of the inline ads were still loading after 10 minutes. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi Marissa Finch ! Ads are loading normally on my end. It's possible this is due to network connectivity issues, but there are plenty of other factors (physical location, specific ad campaigns running at the time, etc) that could result in ads not being served to you. I can confirm everything is working as intended, though!

Hi Support I'm having the same issue — most of the ad spaces on my website just show 3 dots that are loading for ages. Sometimes an ad appears after 5-10 seconds but other times the 3 dots keep loading, but nothing appears. Is this because I'm a new account and the ad server is trying to figure out what ads to serve? Or what you mentioned above (location, real-time bidding, etc).? My website is www.theitalyedit.com. Thank you!!

Hi Livia Hengel! I just checked out the site, and it looks like you're actually running two Grow scripts - one of them has an ID that doesn't match. This will cause authorization issues with the script and can keep ads from displaying properly. So what you'll want to do is remove the extra one and you should be good to go.
You'll want to KEEP the script with an ID that ends in
Zjg=. You can find this script in the Grow settings in your Grow Publisher Portal - it's the correct one.The script with an ID that ends in
Nzg=, you'll want to remove from the site. Once this is done, ads should display properly. Thanks!!0 -
Thanks so much John I've removed the second script and can see the ads now. Thank you for your help!

Hi John. The in-content ads are getting stuck in their loading state and not showing. Can you please check what may be the problem? Thanks!

Hi Darko Janevski ! I took a look, and ads are loading normally on your site. It's normal to see the three loading dots continuously if an ad isn't served to you, but it doesn't indicate things aren't working properly. You can refer to the above official pinned post in this thread for more information.
Thank you!

Same problem here. Could you please have a look and check if there is a specific reason why ads are loading super slowly on my articles? Also, is it normal to have such a low ad impression to page view ratio although my ad density setting is at “High”?
When I visit my site (even on a new phone that hasn't visited the site before), I often only see placeholder ads that are still loading and in general I don't see many ads despite the high ad density setting.

Hi Klaus I took a look at your site and it looks like all of your ad units are loading in as normal for me.
