    Hi Chelsea Wiltse - A consent banner for Display Advertising consent for your Journey ads will only be shown if required depending on the location of any given reader on your site. 

    If you require additional consent, you will need to run an additional cookie consent on your site, as the Journey CMP only covers display advertising.

    We've seen a few Journey publishers use this plugin in the past - if you are seeing issues with ads loading on your site after enabling this plugin, I recommend connecting with the plugin developer for troubleshooting.

    Hi Ryan, as being new to Journey, there is quite a usability problem. As you need to additional consent for the EU, California etc.. that is not being covered by the popup from Mediavne/Journey. As we need several popups you will get a super high bounce rate. People will not cope with several popups. Legally means not set them automatically to a consent state. I think it would be in the interest of Journey/Mediavine if things are streamlined and easy for a potential viewer/customer. What is currently the best way to handle it? Would love to hear your input. 

    (I personally noted that a lot of users think that the Journey/Mediavine consent is all they need, but it covers only the advertisment part, not any other cookies used on the website, youtube etc…. Would you consider a site scanner in the future to include all used cookies etc..?)

    Michael Mlynek Mediavine offers its publishers an Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) compliant consent management platform (CMP) to use with our ad management platform and services. However, this IAB CMP only applies to consents related to Mediavine’s services and does not cover any custom consents outside of that scope. If you require additional consent capture or a cookie scanner, you will need to implement your own solution. We appreciate your feedback and will keep your request in mind, but at this time we don’t have plans to include more functionality.

Journey is Self Supported
