Low RPM (slow ramp-up)
AnsweredHey team, I am a bit concerned with the low RPMs on my website for far. I understand that it's July, there is a ramp-up period, etc.
I am not expecting anything amazing just yet, but it's been over 2 weeks and I don't see many ads on the site yet. Almost 90% of the time I see Grow's “Want to See Less Ads Like This?” banner - there are no other publishers or video ads at all.
Can you please take a look and let me know if this is normal? I might be just overthinking it at this point :)

Hey Amy - I can jump in here!
I always like to remind people that just because your RPM goes up or down, doesn't necessarily mean you made more or less money. RPM isn't the rate that you're earning, but instead, just an after-the-fact calculation comparing what you earned to your traffic. You can read more about that here.
With your site for example - your RPM has remained pretty steady but your earnings are increasing.

As your site owner, you're going to see fewer ads than your readers. That's expected, but when I visit your site I see a variety of different ads serving in each placement. So everything looks good there.

If you're ever concerned about your site's performance, the best practice is to make sure there aren't any conflicts with your Journey script and that your posts are as optimized as possible.

Support I have the same issues.
Actually, I really don't know howmuch its has been optimized from last week but my RPM is very low and ramp-up very slow. I have no idea howmuch ads are serving on my site and which area .
You can see pageviews Vs RPM and my earning. Please look into my website if you can (I don't want to share my url in publicly ) Suggest me if it will be improve because I again want to go back with adsense. but before I have very hope with Mediavine Journey. What Should I do here?
Thanks.

Hey Vishal Gupta -
The biggest thing I'm noticing is that your Impressions Per Pageview are on the lower end because your content is on the shorter side. All of the content is in the first screenview so I'm not seeing any in-content ads until I'm at the bottom of your post.
Journey's ad setup works best with long-form content because you're paid based on impressions rather than sessions/pageviews. Our ad tech works best with posts/pages that keep a reader engaged and scrolling, but with shorter posts, readers aren't given enough content to continue scrolling through and don't have much to engage with.
I'd recommend checking out this help article to see how best to optimize your content.
