New to journey and RPM is ground low (new query)
Hi Karla, Thank you for taking out the time to reply to my previous query - i don't see the thread here or anywhere so I am creating a new post as I had a counter query.
Ok I do understand I joined in July which is a bad month for RPM's so I can expect a 50% or more drop, but a $1 RPM is just tooooooo low - its like a 90% drop from what I was expecting.
Does it mean its only going to take longer to increase? I was expecting the starting RPM to be 4-5 and then go up to 15-20+. Is that realistic?

It's hard to say what exactly is realistic because everyone's sites are different, which is why we haven't really been posting RPM specific posts. Hopefully you'll see the RPM's pick up soon!

I understand. I will wait some more days/ weeks :) thanks for your time.
Is it ok to raise this concern if RPM does not improve in a couple of weeks?

Hey Wanderwithjo
Just wanted to follow up here, as I see that your RPM has picked up a bit, I do see some room for improvement and the bigger thing that sticks out to me is the length of some of your posts. I recommend reading over how to optimize your content for optimal performance

Hey Karla, can you please go through my site as well and point out some probable reasons for low RPM?
I know a couple of reasons which I can't control but want a second opinion.
Thanks!

Hi Karla, thanks for keeping an eye. My RPM has still not reached epmv of ezoic so its still very low. However, it has indeed picked up a little bit. Most content on the site is news pieces which are meant to be short and crisp. However, I plan to add around 50-100 long form (min 1000 word) Articles to that site in coming weeks. We can better gauge results in few months I believe. Let me know if there's anything else I can do from my end to push numbers manifold?
