Signup - Name already exists
AnsweredI was just trying to complete my sign up after being accepted. When trying to complete the form with Business Name and Business Domain. I went forwards and backwards to make a little adjustment to my business name. When trying to resubmit I get the message that “A site with that name already exists”. How do I proceed?

Hi there! If you log out of your Grow dashboard, then log back in and click “Finish Journey Setup” again, you should be taken to the next step in the process which is enabling the ad script.

I'm encountering a similar issue. I accidentally submitted the Site Name as my Business Name and now can't edit it. Every time I try to resubmit, I get the message "A site with that name already exists." How do I proceed to fix this?

Hi Emma! You need to log out of your dashboard and back in. If you log out of your Grow dashboard, then log back in and click “Finish Journey Setup” again, you should be taken to the next step in the process which is enabling the ad script.

Thank you for the response, Rachel. However, this is the main issue. I'm being taken to the next step, while I want to edit the previous step where I can modify the business name and domain.

Got it! I would go ahead and finish the onboarding process, then try to edit this information under the Journey Settings tab once you've set everything up.

I am also having the same issue with the error message of “A site with that name already exists." I have tried logging out of the dashboard, but it did not fix the problem.

Hi Catherine Good ! Could you try logging out and logging back in to your Grow Publisher Portal? Once you do that and click Start Your Journey or Finish Journey Setup, it should take you back to the ad verification step now.

Thank you for the response. That worked, however I am now having issues with setting up ads.txt. I am getting the message “We can’t seem to find your Ads.txt file.”

Hi Catherine Good ! It looks like you were able to figure out the ads.txt file issue. I'm seeing it on the site and don't see any errors in the dashboard, so you should be all set.

Hi, I am having issues with website verification. I keep getting this message: “This site is already verified. Please log in with your Grow account or contact the site owner for access.” I deleted the old account (inactive and unable to complete) I had and signed up with a new email address. I am still seeing the same message. Please help! Thanks
