Hi Ahsanul! As the site owner, you're more likely to be served these Grow placeholder ads since you're looking at the site more often than your readers and advertisers will run out of premium impressions faster. It's also normal to see these placeholder ads in the first few days, and doesn't mean anything is broken or not working as intended.

As for site speed, we have the most optimized ad script in the industry, so the impact of the script on site performance is minimal and shouldn't be the culprit when it comes to speed performance.

    Hi Rachel,

Thanks for your clear reply. Understood all.

Can you please tell me if there is any settings/control for the places I can place ads? The ad at the footer overlaps with my up mark arrow to get to the top of the page.

    Thank you

    Hi Ahsanul,

There isn't currently an way to adjust the placement of ads. In-content and sidebar ads will be optimally placed on posts, and the adhesion ad will run site-wide. If the back to top button is coming from your theme or a plugin, there's likely an adjustment that you can make in the settings to offset it so that it isn't covered. Another alternative could be to add some CSS to move it up above the adhesion ad. Thanks!!

    Hi John,

Thanks for the suggestions, I will try them out.

One more thing, my posts are such that the fullest width a screen allows is utilized. no place for side bars. I am thinking if I will lose a big opportunities in terms of site navigation/ widgets/ ad placements on side bars. Can you please share your idea on this?

    Hi Ahsanul,

Running a sidebar can definitely be a good idea depending on your site's needs. Journey will place a sticky sidebar ad if one is present, so it can definitely help with earnings. Often, depending on the theme, you can configure your post template to add a sidebar right in the WP Customizer. Other themes can have a different setup, so you should be able to check on your theme docs and support to see about adding one to your site. Thanks!!

    Hi John,

there are posts not having space for side bars (the theme not allowing for some specific elements arrangement in the posts). And there will be posts having side bars (I will start publishing the second types), editing the first type is a horrendous job. Can Grow optimize itself in finding which ones are having side bars and place ads on those, I mean on the new ones?

    Thanks

    Ahsanul Abedin

Hi Ahsanul! It depends on the underlying HTML of the sidebar, but generally, yes -- the script will automatically place sidebar ads on the majority of themes. The exception is most page builders or themes with uncommon HTML markup. If you set it up and don't see ads though, you can write us here with a link and we can take a look.

    Hi Ahsanul,

You shouldn't be seeing these notices any longer. There was a little bug on our end that our engineers corrected, and you should be all set. Thanks!

Hey Ahsanul Abedin - Are you referring to your Spotlight Subscribe form? I took a look at your site and I was seeing it serve as expected.

More than likely you're not seeing the prompt because you're logged in and already subscribed. You can double check to make sure you see this by viewing your site in an incognito window.
